Back then, I collected football cards in '67, '68, '71, and '72. I did notice that in the 1967 NFL set, there are very few players shown with helmets, mostly Giants (or Saints shown in their 1966 Giants' uniform) and a few Colts.Jim from Downingtownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01537007940455183397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1506141203729924479.post-34713852472571928102018-05-01T16:30:54.255-04:002018-05-01T16:30:54.255-04:00Great blog! I collected Topps' NFL cards from 1970 through 1977 and I think due to licensing agreements no logos of any team were allowed to be shown in the photos...hence the infamous Topps' airbrushing jobs we've all come to know and love/hate. Would you or anyone happen to know if there were different or no restrictions for the 1968 set (and/or others prior to the 1970 set)?Tim Takhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14538139244157200237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1506141203729924479.post-18722984215635158302011-04-20T11:37:50.040-04:002011-04-20T11:37:50.040-04:00Great blog about my favorite Football card set! i&...Great blog about my favorite Football card set! i've got 14 different in PSA 7 and 8 plus a Dick Butkus in PSA4.
